The FC1015 combines three things that don’t usually come together: brass construction, a male thread, and both a lock and a vent. The brass body is heavier and more rugged than Cleveland Tank’s aluminum caps, built for fuel systems that need that extra durability. The male thread means it threads into a female-threaded tank neck — the opposite setup from most of the lineup — so confirm your tank’s thread gender before ordering rather than going by diameter alone.
The lock secures the tank against theft and tampering, and the vented design still lets the tank equalize pressure correctly as fuel is drawn out, so security doesn’t come at the cost of proper airflow. It’s sized at 2.125 inches with a 12 TPI pitch, finer than most of Cleveland Tank’s other caps, so double-check that spec against your tank as well.
