The FC1012 steps up from Cleveland Tank’s aluminum caps to brass — a heavier, tougher material for fuel systems that see rougher handling or need a more rugged cap than aluminum provides. It combines that with two features at once: it’s locking, to secure the tank against theft and tampering, and vented, so it still lets the tank equalize pressure correctly as fuel is drawn out instead of risking vacuum lock.
It’s sized at 2.00 inches in diameter with an 11.5 TPI female thread — a finer pitch than Cleveland Tank’s larger caps, so confirm that spec against your tank before ordering. Every FC1012 ships with two keys included, so there’s already a spare on hand if one goes missing.
