The FC1010 pairs a male thread with brass construction and proper venting — a combination worth checking carefully against your tank before ordering. The male thread means it threads into a female-threaded tank neck, the opposite of most caps in the lineup, and it’s sized at 2.125 inches with a 12 TPI pitch, finer than most of Cleveland Tank’s other caps.
Being vented, it’s built for fuel systems that let air into the tank through the cap rather than a separate equalizer line, avoiding the vacuum lock a non-vented cap would cause on that setup. It’s the non-locking counterpart to the FC1015 — same male thread, brass, and venting, without the integrated lock and keys.
