The FC1002 is sized at 4.25 inches in diameter with a male 8 TPI thread — larger than Cleveland Tank’s standard 3″ and 4″ caps, and a different thread gender from most of the lineup, so check both spec points against your tank before ordering. It threads into a female-threaded tank neck rather than screwing over one like a female-threaded cap does.
Brass construction gives it more heft and rigidity than a standard aluminum cap, holding up well to repeated fueling cycles. It’s non-locking and non-vented, a straightforward replacement where fit accuracy at this larger size matters more than added hardware.
